Peyronie's Disease (IPP) — EMDA® Treatment

Peyronie's Disease causes fibrous plaques to develop inside the penis, resulting in curvature, pain, and difficulty with intercourse. When diagnosed early, before calcification occurs, it responds well to non-surgical treatment.

The Physion EMDA® system uses a low-intensity electrical current to drive Verapamil and Dexamethasone directly into the plaque — delivering significantly higher tissue concentrations than conventional injection, without pain or surgery. Each session lasts approximately 20 minutes and is carried out in an outpatient setting.

Clinically proven to reduce penile curvature, plaque size, and pain.

Physion® developed the EMDA® (Electro-Motive Drug Administration) system for the painless administration of the anti-inflammatory drug dexamethasone and anti-collagen verapamil in the plaques.

Indications;

  • Fibrous plaque of the penis (noncalcified)
  • Short disease history
  • Pain in the region of penis and curvature of the penis lower than 45%
